The MULTIVAC R145 is an automated rollstock thermoforming machine used to manufacture, fill, and seal custom plastic packages in a single production line. It is designed for small to medium-sized batches and is highly flexible. The machine performs three core functions: it uses heat and vacuum pressure to mold flat plastic film into custom-shaped pockets (thermoforming), allows the product to be loaded into those pockets, and then seals a top layer of film over the pockets while extracting the oxygen.
