Ram Reject Conveyor

A ram reject conveyor is designed to physically remove defective products from a high-speed production line without stopping the flow of acceptable goods. It typically works in conjunction with upstream inspection systems such as Metal Detectors, Checkweighers and X-Ray Inspection Systems.

Specs:

• Conveyor Belt: Moves products through the inspection area at a consistent speed
• Pneumatic Ram Arm: The horizontal metal housing extending over the belt contains a piston. When a defect is detected, the ram quickly extends to push the item off the belt into a "reject" bin
