• Moves Food Without Belts: Instead of a rubber belt that can get dirty or break, this is just a smooth stainless steel tray. It shakes very fast (vibrates) to make the food "hop" forward in a steady stream
• Spreads Things Out: It takes a big pile of food dumped at one end and shakes it until it’s a perfectly even, single layer. This makes it easy for workers or cameras to spot bad pieces later
• Cleans As It Goes: Often, these slides have tiny holes or screens. As the food shakes along, small "trash" like dirt, stems, or broken crumbs fall through the holes, while the good food stays on top
• Dries The Food: If the food was just washed, the shaking action helps "flick" the water off so the food isn't soggy when it gets packaged
