The Air Science Purair LF Series is used to create a sterile, particle-free environment to protect sensitive samples and equipment from contamination. It is specifically designed for applications involving non-hazardous materials where the product needs protection, but the operator does not.

Specs:

• Filtration System: At the core of the LF series is the Multiplex™ ULPA Filtration technology. It uses ULPA filters (99.999% efficient for particles between 0.1 and 0.3 microns) to ensure air cleanliness that meets or exceeds ISO Class 4 standards
• Airflow Configurations: The series includes both Vertical (VLF) and Horizontal (HLF) laminar flow models to suit different lab setups and access needs
• Construction: Units feature a durable, powder-coated interior or optional stainless steel finish, with a standard stainless steel work surface for easy cleaning
• Horizontal (HLF): Air flows from the back toward the user
• Horizontal Is Best Used For: Delicate tasks like micro-electronics assembly or sensitive pipetting
• Advantage: Hands and gloves are always "downstream" of the sample, minimizing the risk of the operator contaminating the work
