Description
The stone-trap and pre-wash system is ideal for small vegetables and berry packing lines, and effectively washes product and removes heavy debris such as stones, nuts, bolts, etc, from the flow of the product.
Water is pumped over the surface of the flume pan and product is conveyed into the water flow. Product is rinsed and carried by flume to the wire conveyor, while heavier objects are trapped in the collection troughs for removal. Water continues through a hydro-sieve to be filtered and recirculated.
