Praxair ColdFront™ Straight Tunnel Freezer

The Praxair straight tunnel freezer was not running at full capacity but was freezing over 600 kg of product per hour to a temperature of -80°C. Previously used to freeze baked goods. Automatic temperature and pressure control systems adjust cryogen injection to compensate for incoming product load and temperature variations. A vapor balance system at conveyor entrance and exit prevents warm room air from entering freezer. Refrigerant: CO2 Tunnel chamber: 9’L x 40″W
